BACKGROUND

Over a 20 000-kilometre journey between learning and unlearning we travelled through Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau. We study at DNS · The Necessary Teacher Training College and a study trip through six West African countries is only the first highlight of our three-year Bachelor programme.

CONTENT

The team will share insights and experiences from their study trip.

How close is Africa? How do common stereotypes shape our mindset? What kind of privileges do we, Europeans, what kind do the people in West Africa behold and what does it take to recognize each other’s values? What is the reaction to our every action? What similarities do we share?
