Introducing André Vltchek

André Vltchek is a philosopher, novelist, filmmaker, investigative journalist, poet, playwright, and photographer. André Vltchek is also a revolutionary internationalist globetrotter who exposes western imperialism and values imposed on the world.

André has covered dozens of war zones and conflicts from Iraq and Peru to Sri Lanka, Bosnia, Rwanda, Syria, DR Congo and Timor Leste.

Key Note speech at the Peace Justice Conference

During Peace Justice Conference, André Vltchek will talk about his direct experience from war zones and explain how the West manufactures and then maintains conflicts – perpetual conflicts.

While talking about Middle East, he will introduce us to the Ecology of War because war is not just shrapnel and bullets flying around us. War can be a set of conditions in which people in the tough slums in Africa and Asia are forced to live. Therefore, there can be no peace without justice, especially without social justice.

Everywhere André goes, he meets the Other, meets ordinary-extraordinary people. He will lead us through the overwhelming fog of disinformation we are surrounded by. On our journey, we will see the world in the eyes of thousands of those people with faces, names and dreams – invisible to most of the media – shouting, yet silenced. From his heart, he will make their voices heard.
